Truck Driver NON-CDL/Box Truck

  • Job Summary

    Box Truck driver, deliver trash cans to new customers, remove used trash cans from canceled/no pay customers. Maintain yard (carts), cart inventory controls. Driving routes will be on an as-needed basis. Driver safely maneuvers vehicle in residential environments. Navigates high traffic and congested roadways, driveways, and alleyways.


    Full-time: Average Hours 40-45 weekly. Mon-Thurs 6 am-3 pm & Friday 6 am-12 pm 30 min lunch breaks

  • Duties and Responsibilities

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following tasks.

    • Operates vehicle in accordance with One Waste Safety Rules and DOT (Department of Transportation) requirements as well as all local, state, and federal laws.
    • Performs pre-and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicles and document checks utilizing the standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report).
    • Immediately reports all unsafe situations or service-related issues to Operations Manager.
    • Attends and participates in all scheduled training programs, Safety meetings, as required by One Waste.
    • Occasionally Pressure wash used trash cans/recycling bins and works yard.
    • Notifies the Operations Manager of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage.
    • Notifies the Operations Manager of service interruptions, including closed or impassable streets or alleyways, receptacles too heavy to service, or potential safety hazards.
    • Communicates customer requests to Dispatch/Office or Operations Manager
    • Follows route assignments as directed and completes end-of-day documentation and check-out process.
    • Performs all duties as scheduled by the Operations Manager and other drivers as directed to meet customer needs.
    • Occasional Saturdays
  • Qualifications

    The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.

    • Education: None Required.
    • Experience: Two (2) years of experience with like-type vehicles
    • Must be at least 23 years of age.
    • Legally eligible to work in the United States
    • Must pass DOT physical by a certified medical examiner.
    • Must pass Pre-employment drug screening

    • Required to use motor coordination with arm, hand, finger, and leg dexterity.

Helper - Residential

  • Job Summary

    Driver Helper teams with Route Driver and assists in the collection of waste material.

  • Duties and Responsibilities

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.

    • Works in accordance with One Waste Safety Rules, as well as all local, state and federal laws.

TRUCK DRIVER NON-CDL/GENERAL LABORER

  • Job Summary

    The main duties of the position will be pressure washing used trash cans and recycle bins. Refurbishing parts to be reused on broken containers. Maintaining organization and cleanliness of our shop yard. Some building maintenance. Cross-training will be mandatory. The ideal candidate will be used as a swing driver on box truck routes. Routes consist of trash can delivery, trash can removal, and trash can swaps. Driving routes will be on an as-needed basis. Driver safely maneuvers vehicle in residential environments.     • Completely dumps all receptacles and leaves the customer's location clean and free of debris.
    • Follows route assignments as directed and completes end-of-day documentation and check-out process.
    • Performs all duties as scheduled by the Operations Manager and other drivers as directed to meet customer needs.
  • Qualifications

    • Education: None Required.
    • Experience: Two (2) years of experience operating a vehicle requiring a CDL or equivalent military driving within the last 7 years.
    • Hold a current Class A or B Commercial driver's License with a minimum of 24 months of driving experience.
